This salon embraces a clean, industrial-modern aesthetic, where sleek, functional furniture meets exposed structures, dark tones and organic accents like greenery. Black leather, chrome finishes and minimalist lighting come together to create an atmosphere that's professional yet contemporary. Dominated by deep, earthy juniper green, black and grey, the space exudes both boldness and sophistication.

The storefront itself is a striking example of industrial-chic design. A central feature is the counter, constructed from exposed concrete blocks arranged in a geometric pattern. Its grey concrete surface contrasts against the textured base, adding to the rugged appeal. A two-tone wall enhances the aesthetic—deep forest green on the bottom, crisp white on the top, with an irregular, jagged edge where the colours meet, lending a playful twist to the otherwise minimalist decor. The deep green walls set a moody, sophisticated tone, which is accentuated by black details in the shelving, lighting fixtures and taps.

Above the counter, a glowing salon sign in bold white text adds a contemporary flair, while black decorative beer taps pay homage to the owner's love of craft beer. High stools with wooden seats and black metal legs perfectly complement the space’s industrial vibe. Shelving and hanging rails made of black metal contribute to the sleek look, while exposed piping running vertically along the walls further enhances the edgy, minimalistic design. The concrete-textured floors and countertops give the salon a raw, minimalist edge, while the black metal elements add a layer of sophistication. A hanging planter with lush greenery injects a natural touch, balancing the harder materials and softening the overall aesthetic. The ceiling, featuring exposed metal ductwork and piping, completes the industrial atmosphere, with warm pendant lights and exposed bulbs adding a touch of contemporary charm.

A hair salon that takes customer comfort above and beyond, Hair Bar Estudio also provides inviting spaces for clients to relax while waiting for their turn. The space offers areas where clients can sip on non-alcoholic beverages from the “bar”, work, or simply chill before their appointments. With a “bar” area at the front, cosy sofas in the waiting zone and a bar counter table with stools in the back, the layout draws inspiration from a trendy café.

The wash stations are set on raised platforms made from diamond plate metal, adding both an industrial touch and ergonomic practicality. The black basin units paired with reclining chairs create a striking contrast against the green walls, making the wash area a bold focal point. Along one wall, a sleek black shelf holds a row of identical white hair care bottles, offering a clean, streamlined look. True to the industrial theme, the plumbing pipes and water lines are integrated into the walls but remain exposed, celebrating the raw functionality of the design.

Minimalism and functionality are key throughout the space. Black leather styling chairs with squared shapes and chrome bases are as sturdy as they are stylish, grounded on rectangular chrome floor plates for added stability. The tufted details of the leather offer a subtle retro touch, while the chrome arms and legs reinforce the industrial aesthetic. A long black metal frame runs from floor to ceiling, supporting the mirrors at each station. The minimalist frame design adds to the room’s open feel, with polished chrome wheeled stands providing mobility and flexibility for stylists.

Lighting plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming, balanced environment. Overhead, pendant lights with rounded industrial designs provide focused lighting for workspaces and mirrors, while additional track lighting ensures task-specific illumination. The black lighting fixtures, suspended from a grid-like ceiling framework, stand out against the off-white ceiling, adding a distinct industrial character. Natural light streaming in from large windows softens the atmosphere, making the space feel more open and inviting, despite its darker colour palette.

The harmonious mix of concrete, metal, earthy green and exposed structural elements gives the Hair Bar Estudio a trendy, urban edge that feels both modern and inviting—perfectly embodying the lifestyle of its clientele.
